Piedmont Historical Fencing League

The Piedmont Historical Fencing League (PHFL) is a coalition of HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) clubs and/or schools in the Appalachian area of the USA, covering the East/Southeast region of the US. The league provides information on these schools, their events, and creates dialogue about news and events in HEMA. 

It is important to note that PHFL is not a governing body of any kind, and the league is in name only and does not signify a component of a national program of any kind. PHFL does not control, regulate, or direct the operations, policies, or conduct of any affiliated or listed school or organization. Our role is solely to provide information, visibility, and community awareness; inclusion or mention does not constitute endorsement, oversight, or approval of any school’s practices, instruction, or activities.
